The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has congratulated children across the local government and as well as the state as they celebrate this year's international children's day,promising that the council under his watch will soon turn learning in the council area ,digital one .
Oloyede in a felicitation message issued by his media office wished the children a happy and prosperous celebration as he urged them to remain focused and determined with their studies.
He urged them to take their studies serious, as he assured them of continuous support for their studies.
The council boss stated that his administration's top priority remains education and promised not to relent until schools within the local government receive required government attention through renovation and provision of learning materials and furniture for ease of learning for the pupils.
He said; "with a heart full of joy and excitement, I felicitate with our children as they witness yet another international children's day celebration. This day is a remarkable one as it is the first to be celebrated on our assumption of office, I want to assure you that we will continue to do our best to make learning easy for you."
"We will renovate your schools and provide you with furniture and educational materials, we will make your learning digital soon. As we promise you these things, I appeal to you all to face your studies and remain determined to succeed in life. The opportunity you have to attain education today, many didn't have it many years ago, so, ensure you are serious with your studies to make your going to school beneficial to you and the society at large."
The council boss reiterated his commitment to education development as the bedrock of development in any society ,stressing that children deserve the support and encouragement of all.
